Hello Everyone!
I know this blog post is waaayyyyyyyyyy overdue!!! I'm going to be much better about my blogging this season compared to last year. Instead of having a monthly recap I'm going to have a quicker/shorter recap every Sunday or Monday about each week at my tournament. I felt waiting until the end of the month made me feel overwhelmed with what I should write and how much detail I should add to each post. Since I would wait until the end of the month it made me not want to write and the procrastination set in. I'm sorry to anyone who had kept up with my blogging and then I suddenly disappeared with nothing for a little over 5-6months.
To quickly get you up to speed for the year, I have full status for the third year in a row on the Symetra Tour. I have been working on the mental side of my game and feel that my perspective and attitude while playing has improved which I'm very proud of. I took a step forward with winter practice and have been living in AZ since January to get my game ready for the season and I absolutely love it out there! I've been working with a golf fitness trainer at Method Athlete and feel I'm starting to see a connection between my swing lessons and fitness sessions. I've had two events so far, one in AZ and the other in CA. I missed the cut by one in AZ with rounds of 77-71. I made the cut in CA by making birdie on my final hole and shot 77-72-81. The final round was probably one of my top five worst playing coditions ever! I thought southern CA was supposed to be beautiful and warm....not 40 with 20mph wind and rain! I was happy to say it was great to be in AZ after that!
I flew out to FL today for our third tournament of the season. I'm excited to get back to tournament play after three weeks off.
I hope you'll enjoy my blogging that I PROMISE to keep up to date!! Also, if you have Twitter or are on Facebook, check out my pages and follow me on there for even more up to date posts :)
