Hi everyone!
I am now in the blogging world! I decided to make a blog for my 2014 golf season because I want to be able to share what I do on the road during my tournaments and off weeks. Throughout my 2013 golf season many people had asked me how I liked traveling week to week, what my favorite place was, what was my favorite course and many other questions about life on the road. I thought setting up a blog would be fun and I would be able to let everyone know the answers to these questions. During my tournaments a couple friends and I always like to find a local restaurant to try out. We usually go on the Food Network website to see if any places are close. I'll definitely be posting about those experiences too because for those of you who know me, you know that I love food and good restaurants :)
So far my off season in the freezing Wisconsin winter has been pretty good! I have been working hard on my golf game and strength conditioning. I feel that I have been making great progress and am excited to head to AZ next week to be in warm weather! This winter I received new irons from Wilson Staff which also adds to the excitement of playing in AZ. My irons will be a mixed set of their FG TourM3 and C100 irons. So far I have really enjoyed them while practicing. I can't wait to see how I'm hitting and playing on real growing grass compared to hitting off of mats here at home. Only one more week to go!
I'm truly looking forward to my 2014 golf season after gaining a great amount of experience during my first full season on the Symetra Tour in 2013. I hope you enjoy following my blog and seeing where my journey of being on the road takes me while trying to earn my LPGA card for 2015!
